Does Your Dining Hall Make the Grade?

A recent study by Kansas State University found that students who ate in the dining center 11 or more times a week earned an average GPA of 3.4. Students who ate fewer than 7 times a week only earned a 3.0. Dining spaces aren't just areas for meals, they are an integral component of the university or college. They bring students together to connect, collaborate and learn.

We believe the right design process should engage students, parents and faculty to learn about their preferences. Their input is essential in defining project goals to create an impactful, responsive design that meets student needs.

Are your dining and union spaces meeting the needs of today's students? Or have they started seeking other options to have their meals and socialize?
